Professional Goals:

I have lived in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, for over eight years. Aside from being the Entertainment Capital of the world, Las Vegas also has some of the best weather in America, top rated colleges and universities , as well as the 10th largest school district in the Nation.

I am President and Chief Executive Officer of my own company which consists of the "LaRed Latina WWW Network", and LRL Internet Consultants Inc..

In addition, I am a Registered REALTOR , in Clark County which has the hottest real estate market in America. It does seem Las Vegas, is fast becoming America's favorite city to live in.

My long term professional goal is to elevate the "Social Work/Helping Profession" unto a higher "Internet/WWW" dimension. This I plan to achieve by transforming the "LaRed Latina WWW Network" into a "Virtual Online Latino Social Support Center" where people from throughout the country can come together, and interface to assist, support, and help each other regarding vital educational, scholastic, aca demic, research, professional/career, employment and other related matters.

LRL Internet Seminar Enterprises is a La Red Latina sponsored concern which is involved in conducting "Internet/WWW" seminars/lectures for High School, College, and University Latino/Hispanic/Chicano organizations and associations from throughout the West Coast, Southwest, Intermountain, Midwest, and Texas Regions.

    PERSONAL INTERESTS AND HOBBIES:

    I attended the University of Texas in Austin where I earned degrees in Industrial Psychology, Communications, and Counseling Psychology. I have traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Eastern Europe and North and South America.

    I enjoy reading scientific journals, and conducting research related to the social sciences and current international socio-political affairs. Sports and exercise are some my favorite pass times. As a dedicated social worker, helping people is one of my primary concerns and interests.

    "LARED LATINA" of the Intermountain Southwest

    was established in the Spring of 1996, as a World Wide Web Forum, for the purpose of disseminating socio-political, cultural, educational, and economic information about Latinos in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe Metro area and the Intermountain Region which includes Metropolitan Areas such as the Salt Lake City/Ogden region, Denver, Phoenix, Tucson, Boise, Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. The Latino community in this geographic region numbers well over 2.5 million and is projected to be close to 3 million by the turn of the century.

    The Internet/WWW, provides an "exciting new high-tech frontier for Latinos in the Intermountain Region to communicate with each other on important social and political issues." By increasing this flow of communication and interaction, I contend that these communities will be able to identify issues, share ideas, and provide support and assist each other in addressing and resolving socio-economic and educational related problems and concerns which may be affecting each others respective community.
