About Professor Robert Flores:

Mr. Robert Flores , Professor of Law, and director of the Academic Support Program, recieved a B.A. magna cum laude in Mass Communications from the University of Utah (1978) and was a fellow in the Becas Para Azlan Graduate Fellowship Program at the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Technologia in Mexico City.

He returned to Utah for employment as broadcast journalist and to pursue additional graduate studies in Mass Communications. A 1987 graduate of the University of Utah College of Law, Professor Flores served in the board of editors for the Utah Law Review and is a member of Order of the Coif.

He participated in the U.S. Department of Justice's Summer Honors Program as a Law clerk in the civil division, commerical litigation branch. Professor Flores served a judicial clerkship with Justice Michael Zimmerman of the Utah Supreme Court (1987-88).

He was an associate with the Washington, D.C., law firm of Wilmer, Cutler and Pickering prior to joining Utah's law faculty in 1991. He teaches courses in civil procedure, litigation, property, and civil rights.
